Product Planning & Execution

Long term product planning within a media organization working under an Agile methodology is hard. I make it look easy. My solution is to set clear KPIs and objectives for my team which also map to the products they manage.

I lead the team through the long term product portfolio planning process by mapping features to strategic objectives, such as Reach, Retention, Engagement and Revenue. Those features are then prioritized and added to design sprint backlogs in JIRA and are later added to the development sprint backlog in JIRA where they go on to be assigned to a sprint once prioritized and ready for development.
