Eagle Falcon

Artisan crafted bags and refined everyday carry for modern professionals

A Symbol Forged from Two Cultures

Eagle Falcon blends the strength and symbolism of two birds of prey—the American eagle and the Arab falcon. Inspired by the falcon’s cultural significance in the Middle East, and the eagle’s iconic status in American identity, the name was born when Derrick Fountain relocated to the Gulf in 2011. The brand represents independence, precision, and elegance with a purpose.

Originally launched as a luxury shirtmaker, Eagle Falcon evolved into a full design studio after Derrick moved to Istanbul and immersed himself in its rich tradition of craft. From there, the brand expanded into bespoke briefcases, business duffels, wallets, women’s handbags, and tailored garments—each one limited in production and rooted in a slow, analog process.

A Hand-Drafted Practice in a Digital World

Each design begins without a screen: no software, no 3D renderings—just pencil, paper, and a ruler. Patterns are drawn by hand, annotated with meticulous details and refined over months before any material is cut. No more than a handful of pieces are produced each year, many showcased in fashion exhibitions or curated boutique placements.

This is slow fashion at its purest form: design without deadlines, and craftsmanship without compromise.

Carrying Meaning into New Chapters

Eagle Falcon pieces are made for life’s pivotal transitions—a promotion, a graduation, a return home, or a new role. Whether it’s a triple-gusset crocodile briefcase, a ladies’ belted handbag, or an ostrich skin duffel for business travel, each item is designed to be both distinctive and functional, bridging tradition with individuality.

Materials with Story and Substance

Vegetable-Tanned Skins from Istanbul
Each Eagle Falcon bag begins with carefully selected hides, sourced personally in Istanbul. The use of traditional vegetable-tanned materials ensures character, depth, and durability—every hide is inspected by hand to meet the brand’s exacting standards.

Turkey's reputation as a top-tier leather producer in Europe, dating back to the first leather district established near Topkapi city walls in 1453, guarantees the highest standards of quality and sustainability in production.

Kutnu “palace fabric” lining

Inside every bag is a nod to Ottoman heritage: handwoven Kutnu fabric, once reserved for royalty. Woven with naturally dyed threads on traditional looms, each meter of fabric represents a full day’s labor from skilled artisans. Its rich color and texture reflect the same patience and purpose embedded in each Eagle Falcon design.
